SIMI’s perspective on the quality of teaching and learning

The Swiss Institute of Management & Innovation (SIMI) believes that success in any educational institution is founded on (1) great quality management systems, (2) faculty and academic councils, and (3) appropriate training models for each student group. SIMI also thinks that continual procedural research and improvement helps SIMI achieve greater efficiency, quality, and eliminate errors in the operation of the management system and program transfer.

SIMI uses the ECTS system (European Credit Transfer and Recognition System)

ECTS is designed to make it easier for learners to migrate between nations and recognize past training processes. SIMI uses the ECTS credit system throughout its program, which is based on the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), the program’s learning outcomes, and the weight of knowledge and training time.

SIMI’s program uses the ECTS credit transition and recognition system for the firs (bachelor), second (master), and third cycles (doctor).

SIMI focuses on research and innovation, as well as continuous improvement of the training system.

Switzerland is widely regarded as the world’s top country in terms of education and quality, as well as first in terms of invention and creativity. Switzerland’s institutes, universities, and educational institutions are all expected to be leaders in research, innovation, and creativity. SIMI, as a Swiss higher education institution, also focuses on research and innovation activities such as doctorate and postdoctoral projects, continuous quality improvement, technological innovation, and instructional methodologies. SIMI’s teaching team is also expected to be imaginative and creative in their approach to teaching and working with SIMI.

Due to research, innovation, creativity, and improvement, SIMI has the chance to develop, complete, change, and update advanced knowledge, technologies, and processes with the purpose of increasing efficiency and quality in teaching and learning.
